Day 1: Trivandrum On Arrival Trivendrum airport/
railway station you will be greeted with a warm welcome by
our representative & later assisted for transfer to your
hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for a Half a day city
tour of Trivendrum. The word Thiruvananthapuram means place
of sacred serpent & literally known as the holy city of
Anantha. Trivendrum is a sea side city, which is built on

cities of the country. It is a city of magnificent buildings
of ancient & modern architecture. This seaside city is noted
for its internationally renowned beaches, historic
monuments, backwater stretches & a rich cultural heritage,
lush greenery etc. Visit some sight seeing places like Sri
Ananthapadmanabhaswamy temple, Napier Museum, Sri Chitralaya
Art Gallery, National History Museum, Kanakakunnu Palace,
Kuthiramallika Palace, Veli Lake, Zoological Garden, CVN
Kalavari Sangham (Martial Arts), Mahathma Gandhi road. Enjoy

Day 2: Kovalam After Breakfast check out hotel and
proceed towards Kovalam. Kovalam is an evergreen & pleasant
climatic beach resort. Kovalam is a fabulous stretch of
beach of kerala. It is one of the famous Indian beaches all
over the world. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of
tourists, especially the foreigners. It consists of a number
of small palm fringed bays separated by rocks. Kovalam
presents a spectacular scenic beauty. It is a sheltered
natural bay with shark free waters, fringed with coconut
grooves & miles of fine sands. The scenery around is
enchanting & the drive to the beach through the palm grooves
is refreshing. This renowned beach is favorite haunt of
tourist round the year. On arrival Kovalam check in the
beach resort. Later in the evening enjoy a spectacular view

Day 3: Varkala After Breakfast check out the resort.
Today you will be moving towards Varkala. Varkala is an
exotic beach city. It is also a pilgrimage centre dedicated
to lord Vishnu. This seaside resort & spa with high
mountains has rich mineral water which blown out
majestically from the coastline. Varkala is a best spot in
Kerala for watching sunset. Varkala is one of the famous
sacred beaches in South India. The beach also called as the
papanasam beach, because the legend says that bathing here
will wash away all one’s sins & makes the soul pure. On
arrival check in beach resort, after some fresh up proceed
for a half day city tour, visit Sivagiri Mutt, The Memorial
of Sri Narayana Guru, Janardhana Swami temple, Varkala
Beach, etc. Enjoy a tasteful dinner in the hotel & over

Day 4: Alleppey After Breakfast check out the resort.
Today you will be driven towards Alleppey. Allapuzha or
Alleppey is one of the most exotic backwater sites of kerala
& it is popularly known as ‘Venice of the East’. It is
interlocked by a number of canals, lakes & lagoons. Alleppey
is nestled in the Arabian sea & Vembanad Lake. Alleppey has
been gifted with immense natural beauty. On arrival
Alleppey, board the traditional house boat for full day
stay, sailing in this moving house boat is an incredibly a
fantastic experience. While sailing down in a maze of
lagoons, canals & lakes one can feel the natural beauty of
kerala villages, coconut palms, green surroundings, lush
paddy fields & many more. The delicious meals like lunch,
dinner, next day breakfast & also some tea snacks will be
provided in the boat. The cool climatic condition & watery
surroundings will offer a relaxing & a peaceful sleep early
in the night after sprawling in a stunning watery area. Over
night relax in the houseboat.

Day 5: Kumarakom On the 5th day of your Kerala
Backwater tour, after Breakfast disembark the houseboat in
the morning & drive towards Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a
beautiful & a pleasant village on the Vembanad Lake. This
small backwater world is an enchanting backwater
destination. It has unimaginable beautiful mangrove forests,
coconut grooves, & lush green paddy fields which are covered
with shimmering watery ways & canals. It is a diamond in
India’s ecological crown, despite being one of the smallest
parks in the country. Kumarakom is a small world of
backwater, thatched houseboats, cormorants, Chinese fishing
nets & swaying palms. It is noted for its Bird sanctuary,
which is a favorite of migratory birds. On arrival check in

resort & later in the afternoon visit some of the sight
seeing places such as Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom Bird
Sanctuary, Watery Fields & back water (the jewels of kerala).

Day 6: CochinAfter Breakfast checkout the resort &
proceed towards Cochin. Cochin is Kerala’s most cosmopolitan
city which is located on the west coast of India. The scenic
location of Cochin has a natural harbor with lagoons, canals
& fishing hamlets surrounded by palm groves, green fields,
inland lakes, & backwaters etc. On arrival Cochin check in
to the hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for a half day
city tour. Visit some of the sight seeing places like Fort
Kochi, Kerala History Museum, Dutch Palace, Jewish
Synagogue, Bolghatty Palace, St Francis Church, Willington
Island, Chottanikara Temple, Koder House, Hill Palace
Museum, Parishanth Taamburan Museum, Santa Cruz Cathedral,
Chinese Fishing Nets etc, later in the evening proceed for a
Kath kali show, a classical dance of kerala. Have a
delicious dinner & overnight relax at the hotel.
Day 7: Cochin After Breakfast checkout the hotel &
transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway station to board your
onward destination Flight or Train. With happy memories. |
