receive a warm welcome from our tour executive. He
will also escort you to the hotel. You will rest for
the night at the hotel in Bangalore.
Day 2: From Bangalore to Mysore
Immediately after breakfast we will set out for the
historical city of Mysore, which is about 128 km
away. On the way we will visit the imposing
Seringapatnam Fort. After reaching Mysore we shall
check in to the hotel and have a good night's sleep.
Day 3: Sight Seeing at Mysore
The whole day has been kept reserved for a sight
seeing tour of the city. You will witness a
brilliant example of Hoysala architecture, the
Somnathpur temple. The exquisite sculptures of the
temple will surely impress you.
Day 4: From Mysore to Nagerhole, Night Stay at
Nagerhole
In the morning just after breakfast we will set out
for the Nagerhole Forest situated at a distance of
about 80 km. It surely promises to be a very
adventurous trip. The Nagerhole Forest is dry, but
the wild animals residing within it quench their
thirst easily because of the presence of the Kabini
Reservoir. After reaching, we will undertake a
jungle Safari. This will definitely be thrilling and
exciting.
Day 5: Stay at Nagerhole
The fun in Nagerhole continues even today. We will
be going to explore the depths of the forests and
watching the wild animals in yet another safari that
will be undertaken today. You are also free to enjoy
the nature walks. Boating is yet another favorable
option. In the evening a camp fire will be organized
and you will relish a great dinner in the warmth of
the fire. A film will also be screened. What more
can one ask for? This will definitely be a very
entertaining and enjoyable day.
Day 6: From Nagerhole to Hassan
On this day, we will set out for Hassan. In the
afternoon we will be visiting the beautiful temples
at Belur and Halebid. Several Jain shrines are also
to be seen in Halebid. All the temples are indeed
remarkable for the superlative architectural skills
that they display. You are sure to be stunned on
seeing these splendid temples. At the end of the day
long visit, we will retire to the hotel in Hassan.
Day 7: From Hassan to Hospet
The day begins with a journey to Hospet. We will
have to cover a distance of about 325 km and so
after reaching Hospet we will immediately check in
to the hotel to rest. We need to get over the
tiredness and prepare ourselves for the next day's
outing.
Day 8: Excursion from Hospet
The eighth day of the Karnataka Wildlife and
Heritage Tour will help you to take a walk back in
time. You will get to see the ruins of Hampi which
was once the capital city of the Vijaynagar Empire.
It has the proud distinction of being a world
heritage site. The remnants of the grand palaces and
gateways that one gets to see here points to the
dexterity of our craftsmen. You are sure to be
impressed by this dream carved in stone.
Day 9: From Hospet to Badami, Night Stay at
Badami
Today we will set out to visit the fort and the
famous rock cut temples at Badami located at a
distance of about 175 km. Badami was previously the
capital of the Chalukyas. These temples are indeed
architectural marvels and their composition and
artistry is very elegant.
Day 10: Badami
We will be visiting the temples at Aihole and
Pattadakal. Aihole heralded the beginning of temple
architecture in India. Both these places represent
the high point of an eclectic art and the monuments
are very admirable indeed.
Day 11: From Badami to Dandeli
We will set out for the Dandeli Wild Life Sanctuary.
All wildlife lovers will surely be enthralled on
visiting this wild life sanctuary which houses an
amazing variety of flora and fauna. It is very
exciting to go for the jungle safari in the
afternoon when you will be able to see the wild
animals in their natural habitat.
Day 12: Dandeli
This day will also be devoted to Dandeli. The
extensive depths of the forests cannot be covered in
a single day and so we thought it would be best to
go for jungle safaris in the morning and afternoon
on this day as well. Dandeli is our halt for the
night.
Day 13: From Dandeli to Goa
After covering a distance of 125 km we arrive at
Goa. After arrival we check in to the hotel and then
you can relax.
Day 14: Stay at Goa
Goa is a lovely sea side. You can spend the whole
day basking in the sunny golden beaches. The sea is
no less welcoming. A bath in the azure waters will
certainly be very refreshing. Or else you can just
stroll about and admire its scenic beauty - the
beautiful beaches dotted with palm trees. You are on
a holiday and these moments of pure leisure are very
precious.

Heritage Tour. You will be transferred to the
