Day 2 - Chennai / Kanchipuram
/ Mahabalipuram
Morning visit of Kanchipuram which is 80 kms from
Chennai the famous temples of south India like
Ekambeshwara temple, Varadaraja Temple and
Kailasanatha Temple and then you can visit The silk
Weaving Factory and proceed towards Mahabalipuram
for lunch and in the Afternoon Visit of the
monuments of Pallava Kingdom like Shore Temple, five
Rathas Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day
3 - Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry
Am Drive to Pondicherry on the way you visit the
Auroville and check in at Hotel Pondy and In the
afternoon you can visit Aurobindo Ashram, and the
old of Pondicherry which is previously the French
Colony. - Overnight Pondy
Day 4 -
Pondy / Chidambaram / Tanjore
Am proceed to Chidambaram, where you can visit the
famous and old south India Temple of Lord Nataraja
and then proceed to Tanjore to visit the famous
Palace and Brahadeswara temple. - Overnight Tanjore
Day 5 - Tanjore / Velankanni / Tanjore
Today you will have day trip to Velankanni, which is
about of 100 kms one-way. Velankanni is a famous
church and it is considered as one of the holly
place.
Day 6 - Tanjore / Trichy / Madurai
Morning drive to Trichy to Visit Rock fort Temple
and then the famous temple of Sriranganathar at
Srirangam and then proceed to Madurai to visit the
Musuem and Madurai Meenakshi Temple and Nayak Palace
- Overnight Madurai.
Day 7 - Madurai / Rameshwaram / Madurai
Today you have a day to Rameshwaram which is about
180 kms oneway from Madurai which is Place where you
can see all oceans joining together which is
conciered as famous and holly place. -Overnight at
Madurai
Day 8 - Madurai / Kanyakumari
From Madurai you will proceed to Kanyakumari,
enroute visit Krishnapuram Temple check into your
hotel and visit the Tiruvalluvar statue who is a
great poet and it is the place which is considered
as the extreme end of India and Vivekananda Memorial
- Overnight Kanyakumari.
Day 9 - Kanyakumari / Chennai
Today you will take Overnight Train to Chennai. |
