Day 02 - Full Day Excursion to Borra Caves
The second day we have organized the full day sightseeing tour
of Borra Caves
It is an ancient cave about 1 million years old and si around 2
sq km in area. This is a limestone caves and you get all the
features of limestone topography here.
The beautiful Stalgamites & Stalacites will take your breath
away . you also get to see tribal culture here as the entire
area around Borra Caves is inhabited by tribal.
Our next destination today is the scenic Araku Valley with dense
forests, cascading waterfalls , undulating terrain and orchards
will leave u captivated.
We then proceed to Rishikonda Beach with its golden sands, sun
and waves. It is an ideal place to unwind.
After this we call off the day and you spend the night at Vizag
Day 03 - AM Excursion to The Simhachalam Temple
Today on the third day after breakfast we will go to The
Simhachalam Temple .Simhachalam or the hill of the lion is just
18km drive from Vizag.
At the temple you find the idol of Varaha Lakshminarasimha. Here
the image looks like Shivalingam covered with sandal paste.
This paste is removed only once a year during Chandana Visarjana
and it is said that as the image of Narasimha is so fierce it
has to be covered from public view by applying sandalwood paste.
In the afternoon after you come back we arrange your transfer to
Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. |
